Summer is almost here and our children will have their vacation. This means our children will stay in the house and wait for the next school year. To maximize their time, we can enrol them to summer camps so that they can still learn many things even when not in school. There are many summer camps or workshops here in Singapore so this is not a problem.
We can also bring them to destinations worth seeing whether it is within Singapore or overseas. Traveling enriches the soul. It is good that while our children are young, we teach them to appreciate the wonders of the world. Here are some summer destinations worth seeing:
- Thor’s Well: If we go see Thor’s Well at Cape Perpetua in Oregon Coast, we will have an impression that the ocean is consuming itself. It is just an illusion but the sight is a wonder.
- Red Seabeach: In Dawa County, China, there is a wetland that is famous for its outstanding sight. The grasses there looked like they are dyed but it is natural because of the alkaline soil. The red grasses are surely an extraordinary sight. We can also admire more than two hundred species of birds.
- Pangong Tso Lake: The Lake is in between China and Tibet but despite its close proximity to two countries, going to the lake is safe for tourists. Tourists need to ascend about 14,270 feet to really see the view. This may not be perfect for your children but when they see the lake especially when its winter, they will be amazed.
There are countless enchanting places around the world. If we want to visit popular ones with our kids, we can do so but if we want a different experience, we can search for places that aren’t as popular but as beautiful as the famous ones.
